Tucked in the great Adirondacks of New York State, Lake Placid is a scenic wonder in summer and winter! A stay at the Highland Cottage will put you in the center of it all, leaving your daily routines miles away.
The Highland Cottage is a cozy multilevel set up. There is one full bathroom on the entry level. Up a set of stairs, the house splits off from a landing to a kitchen/living room area and up a small set of stairs to the bedroom.
The bedroom has a queen size bed situated in a cozy loft area, accessible by a three step ladder. There is a dressing area with a couch that can convert to a queen size bed. A small deck is off of the bedroom, perfect for enjoying the peacefulness of the property.
The kitchen is small but fully equipped with modern appliances, furnished with dishes and cooking utensils. A couch in the living room converts to a queen size bed. A beautiful, romantic fire awaits you by a click of a switch and you'll enjoy the warmth from the inside, out.
There is a large screen television and DVD in the living room, along with a stereo, tapedeck, and CD player. Up in the loft there is a television. All bed and bath linens are provided. Laundry facilities are available. A telephone is provided.
During the cooler seasons guests are invited to use the large outdoor hot tub spa.
